Levels don't give stats. They only open gates — zones, rods and the enchant altar. The Lucky Rod comes from finishing all five books. The Rod of the Spirits comes from the Keeper of the Forest, and nothing else.

TIDEWRACKER

Five waters. A hundred and ten things living in them.
Some of them are looking for you.

Version 1.04.2

How to play

Eight things. That's the whole game.

1
Cast
Press Cast. A marker sweeps across the bar underneath. Press Set to stop it — land it in the green for a perfect cast, ×1.25 XP.
2
The bite
The float goes under and the rod hooks it for you. One second to get your finger ready — then the fight starts on its own.
3
Reel
Hold anywhere on the panel — or the spacebar — to pull your bracket right. Let go and it drifts left. Keep the fish inside it and the bar fills. If it never once escapes, that's a perfect catch, ×1.5 XP.
4
Sell it or tank it
Every fish goes in your bag. The Seller turns it into coins right now. The Aquarium pays you 10% of its value every hour, forever — coins and XP both. That choice is the heart of the game.
5
Buy better rods
Lure is how fast it bites. Luck is how rare the fish are. Control is how wide your bracket is. Resilience is how calm the fish stays. Reel is how fast the bar fills. And the line limit is the heaviest fish you can land at all.
6
Watch the sky
Day and night are six minutes each, and the weather rerolls every flip. Some fish only bite in one kind of weather — the book tells you which. Starfall doubles your luck. A solar eclipse quadruples it.
7
Hunts
Sometimes something enormous surfaces. A red bar tells you which water it's in and gives you thirty minutes. Go there and you'll see it moving in the deep. They have forced reel speed — every rod pulls them at the same slow rate, so the Golden Rod is no better than a stick here. It comes down to your hands. Miss the clock and it's gone.
8
Totems
A Sundial ends the day or the night on command — 2,000 c from the Items tab, and it rerolls the hunt too. Eclipse and Starfall totems force those skies, but only at the right time of day, and they only last the rest of that phase. Both drop at 0.5% from the aquarium and from Angler jobs. One totem every two minutes.
9
Mondays and Fridays
Monday doubles your XP, your luck, your mutation odds and your aquarium income, all day. Friday is worse behaved: ×5 luck, a hunt surfaces every hour, every rod lands Golden, and the Moonlit Leviathan is ten times more likely to take your line. A gold banner appears at the top when one is running.
10
A bobber that fishes for you
Finish the Ocean book and your float turns gold — and starts pulling a fish out of your water every five minutes on its own, with a 5% chance of Golden on it. Catch every fish and every rod and it becomes the Blackhole Bobber: the same thing at double strength, with a 10% chance of the ×5 Blackhole mutation. Both can pull a legendary, the active hunt, or something that is in no book at all.
11
Fill the books
Each water has its own book. Finish one and you keep the reward forever. Finish all five and the Lucky Rod is yours. The Keeper of the Forest wants three specific things, and she pays in the best rod in the game.
